Product Features:
  • Voice Matched Satellites
Unlike many other entry-level satellite speaker systems, the HKTS 15 is built for high performance. All five speakers use the same driver material to provide a smooth, consistent sound field that sounds incredibly realistic and natural. Each satellite is a 2-way design, featuring a 3/4" metal-dome tweeter. The metal-dome tweeter is strong but lightweight, allowing it to reproduce high frequencies with detail, accuracy and clarity. Joining the tweeter is a 3-1/2" midrange driver, which delivers increased mid-bass response and smooth vocals.
  • Powerful 100W 10” Subwoofer
No high-performance home theater would be complete without a powered subwoofer. To deliver deep, substantial bass, the HKTS 15 uses a rigid 10" woofer powered by a powerful 100-watt amplifier. The woofer’s rigid design allows it to move, while still hold its shape without bending or distorting. This results in high excursion with minimal distortion, and a home theater experience that you just don’t hear but feel.
  • Easy to set up
Whether you’re doing it yourself or a professional is doing it for you, the HKTS 15 is easy to wire. High-quality speaker connections on the back of each speaker allow for the use of “better” speaker wire. The powered subwoofer includes both a line-level (LFE) connection (for today’s 5.1 and 7.1 surround receivers), and speaker-level connections for use with older receivers or stereo receivers. The HKTS 15’s LFE input even has an “audio sense” circuit to turn itself off automatically when not in use. If you’re using the included wall brackets, they attach effortlessly to the bottom of each satellite, and even allow rotation so you can precisely dial in the best speaker placement.

HKTS 15 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Received about 2 weeks ago, so far, great! Before getting this, I was using 2 3-way Philips speakers. They sounded great, but I wanted surround. Getting this system added the two back channels, the center, the sub, and replaced the Philips. The clarity is amazing, and the bass shakes my place. My neighbors have only complained once... At night you can just turn off the sub, and still get amazing sound. Although the speakers came with plenty of wire, I already had the room wired up, so I didn't need it. The speakers are the perfect size and sit nicely on the built in stands. The subwoofer was much bigger than I thought it was going to be, but that's how you get good bass, so no quips there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking and very good sound It looks great and sound is very good with my newly bought Yamaha v377 AV receiver. Easy to install. I could manage to fit the satellite speakers to my Sanus Speaker Stands with help of some store bought bolt and nuts (#8 I guess). The length of wires are sufficient for my living room. Links and Photos attached) Initially I thought It's very good deal and I bought it, but later I realized that it is only a passive speaker set and it requires an amplifier/AV receiver. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Audiophile Quality Package ! purchased this system 7 days ago for two reasons.! One, HK's superior quality,. Two, The Price! I have several pieces of Harmon Kardon equipment, and have always been very happy with the engineering and the exceptional sound I have yet to find as good as, or better at anywhere close to the price! I have some HK equipment that is thirty years old, and still out performs current offerings by other manufacturers. Highly recommend Harmon Kardon to anyone who cares about quality, value, and performance. Retired Audio Engineer

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superior Sound and Quality I bought this set 3 weeks ago as a gift, hooked it up today and the sound is amazing! The Subwoofer is extraordinary. It has body moving base and the overall distortion rating for the system is extremely low. The various sound settings also provided me me the ability to hear movies, regular tv shows or my music in different ways making me enjoy all 3 even more. The blue tooth is easy to use and pairs up easily which allows me to listen to music from my phone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Poor sub woofer The speakers seem to have good sound overall. They were very good quality for the price range. The problem is with the sub woofer. Even with the sub level dial turned to mid on the back controls, there seems to be a raddle noise. The indicator light on the top of the box doesn't turn on either. I feel that I might have gotten a defective sub. Very happy with the speakers at this price range though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean sound quality. Full range sound, bass without the hum. Trebles without the tinny metallic overtones. Immerses the room with with consistent surround sound so you get absorbed into the video. The sub woofer has a richer sound that you can feel and is a clearer bass than my old sub woofer. Comes with additional wall mounting brackets and wires.

Hi , HKTS 15 is it compatible/support 4K and 7 series

Asked by: Metta
Hello. The HKTS 15 are just a set of speakers. The compatibility to support 4K would depend on the specifications of the receiver you're going to connect them to.

What's the maximum watts for this home theater?

Asked by: Anonymous
While the HKTS 15 only shows the required power to run, we do not have the max watts available and we would advise not to crank the receiver too much so it won't damage the speakers.

What is the frequency response of the sat-ts15 and cen-ts15 speakers for the crossover?

Asked by: César
The HKTS 15 has the frequency response of 35Hz-20kHz as a system. But the satellite and center channels does have a frequency response of 120Hz-20kHz (Filter switch ON) and 450Hz-20kHz (Filter switch OFF). This is depending on the subwoofer's High-Cut (Low-Pass Filter) Switch at the back. Here's what that means. If you have the switch set to Off, if you are using it for something other than the HKTS15 system, you can use the settings in your receiver and you can set your receiver as high as 450Hz if you'd like. But if you are using it with your HKTS15 speaker system and don't have a filter in your receiver, the crossover frequency between the speakers and the sub is 120Hz. This would also change the frequency response of the satellite speakers accordingly. While the SUB has a frequency response of 35Hz – 120Hz (Filter switch ON) and 35Hz – 450Hz (Filter switch OFF).

Would these be a good match for the Harman AVR 240?

Asked by: Vic711
Yes, The AVR 240 drives 50W at 8 ohms while the HKTS 15 can handle up to 80W at 8 ohms and these should be a good match with each other.
